Privacy Policy

Last updated September 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how SpoolTrak (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use spooltrak.com.

It also explains your choices, including how to access, correct, or delete anything you’ve sent us.

1. At a glance

  • SpoolTrak has no accounts. The projects, prices, and sales you enter stay in your browser and are never uploaded to us.
  • The only personal information we receive is what you choose to type into the Contact Us form.
  • We don’t sell your information, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use advertising trackers.

2. Information that stays on your device

SpoolTrak runs in your browser. Everything you enter in the calculator — projects, filament, printer and cost settings, sales logs, sales-channel fees — is saved in your browser’s local storage, along with small preferences such as your theme, list layout, and which “What’s New” posts you’ve seen. We don’t receive or store any of it.

Files you import (.gcode, .3mf, spreadsheets) are read entirely inside your browser, and exports are generated there too. Nothing is uploaded.

Because this data lives only on your device, clearing your browser data or using Private/Incognito mode will erase it. Use Export to keep a backup.

3. Information you send us

If you use the Contact Us form, we receive what you submit: the type of feedback, your message, and any of the following you choose to provide — your name, your email address, your device type (for mobile issues), and up to three attachments (.png, .jpg, .txt, or .json). Please don’t include anything sensitive in a message or attachment; a screenshot or exported file may contain your project or sales details.

The form is delivered to us as an email at [email protected]. We use it only to read, respond to, and act on your feedback. Your email address is optional and is used only to reply to you.

You can also email us directly at [email protected].

4. Automatically collected information and service providers

Like any website, the services that deliver SpoolTrak receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use these providers:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and serves it to you. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies or track you across sites.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile protects the Contact Us form from spam and bots. It runs only when the form is open, and it receives information about your browser and your IP address to tell humans from bots.
  • Brevo sends your Contact Us submission to us as an email.
  • Google Fonts supplies the site’s typefaces. Your browser requests the font files directly from Google, which receives your IP address.

These providers handle data under their own privacy policies. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. How we use information

We use the information above to run and secure the site, understand overall usage so we can improve SpoolTrak, and respond to feedback. We don’t sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don’t use it to build profiles about you.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of SpoolTrak or others.

6. How long we keep it

Feedback emails are kept for as long as we need them to respond and to track issues, and we’ll delete them on request. Analytics data is aggregated and retained by Cloudflare under its own retention policies. Data stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.

7. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, we honor the rights provided by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), including the right to know what personal information we have about you, to access, correct, or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you used to contact us. We may need to verify your request before acting on it. Since we collect very little, the practical effect is usually deleting a feedback email you sent us.

Do Not Track: SpoolTrak does not track you across other websites, so we don’t respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

Residents of other US states and other countries may have similar rights; you’re welcome to email us with any request and we’ll do our best to honor it.

8. Children

SpoolTrak is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email [email protected] and we’ll delete it.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the Contact Us form is verified and validated on the server before it’s sent. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to our privacy policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we’ll also announce them in What’s New.

11. Contact
