1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of SpoolTrak (“we,” “us,” “our”) at spooltrak.com (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

2. What SpoolTrak is

SpoolTrak is a free tool that helps you estimate 3D printing costs and suggested prices, and keep simple project and sales records. It is provided for general informational and planning purposes.

3. Estimates, not advice

Results depend entirely on the numbers you enter and on the formulas and defaults we’ve chosen, and they may contain errors. Suggested prices, markups, and profit figures are estimates — not financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying results and for your pricing, purchasing, and business decisions.

4. Your data and backups

Your projects and sales are stored only in your browser, not on our servers. We can’t see, recover, or restore them. Clearing your browser data, using Private/Incognito mode, switching browsers or devices, or a browser or software problem can permanently erase them. You are responsible for backing up your data with the Export feature.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the Service lawfully and considerately. Don’t:

• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• use automated means to submit the Contact Us form, or submit spam, malware, or unlawful or abusive content;
• copy the Service or its content in a way that misrepresents it as your own or violates the law.

6. Feedback you send us

We appreciate your feedback and suggestions, and you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you. You keep ownership of anything you send that is yours, and you promise you have the right to send it.

7. Ownership and third-party names

SpoolTrak, including its design, text, and code, is owned by us and protected by law. You may use the Service for your own personal or business purposes, but this doesn’t give you ownership of it. Names such as Bambu Lab, Bambu Studio, and OrcaSlicer are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe file compatibility; SpoolTrak isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpoolTrak and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — even if we’ve been told such damages are possible. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new “Last updated” date. If we make material changes to these Terms, we’ll also announce them in What’s New. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. General terms

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect.

No waiver. If we don’t enforce a provision right away, we can still enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor, for example if SpoolTrak is sold or reorganized.

Entire agreement. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreements. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information but is not part of these Terms.
